What I Didn’t Like:

Content Warning: assault, discussions of rape
In the beginning, the voice feels forced and unnatural. I will say it settles into something more like I was expecting.
There are a few randomly inserted scenes that made NO sense. It didn’t feel like a hint at something or a mystery, but then they don’t really come back to those again. It was a bit weird.
There’s too much in here that is seemingly random or unconnected. It forces a level of unbelievable when it’s all viewed together. Not only that but a focus on various sexual assaults or crimes is heavy-handed.

The political commentary was interesting and it worked.
The relationship between Jenny and her sister was believable and well written. They’re also an interesting lesson on talking to someone instead of assuming something.
The revenge plot played out as promised. It delivered on the satisfaction of retribution.

Personally, I think the build up was a bit slow and there was too much tossed into the story that wasn’t needed. I would’ve preferred a tightening of the plot.
