What I Didn’t Like:

• Some typographical or grammatical errors. Including having Bill say a line when he wasn’t in a scene (presumably it should have been Kenny). 
• The love triangle felt like it was being overhyped for a later book. I think this a lot when we’re dealing with love triangles in YA though so it could just be me.
• A bit slow to start. Plus a lot of the world building is implied, hoping you’ve read Alice in Wonderland and it can play off of that. I would’ve liked a bit more specific to this book. 

What I Did Like:

• The fun and whimsy of Wonderland is captured here. Yet the story itself is new and refreshing. You get characters you’ve heard but challenges you haven’t. It’s a nice balance. 
• Good characters! I expected to like the Hatter character best (I usually do) but Chase actually was a fast favorite in this one.
• I appreciated the ending. It’s logical, ha a good message, and doesn’t leave us on a cliffhanger. It does, however, leave us in love with the characters and interested in a sequel for that reason. 

Who Should Read This One:

• YA fantasy fans who like reluctant heroes, love triangles, and Wonderland.
