What I Didn’t Like:
- Robin. The chapters from this POV served only to confuse me, which was probably the purpose. I will say it’s not an issue the entire time but it is frustrating when her chapters are first introduced.
- I love the “things are not what they seem” vibe but this one MIGHT take it too far. It quickly seems like you know NOTHING and that’s a bit frustrating. One of those “WHAT IS GOING ON?” books.
- This is one of those read again books. No spoilers but you’ll hit that ending and want to put it right back on the TBR to see what you missed. You either love that or hate it.
What I Did Like:
- Compelling start. Within a few chapters you’ve gotten a solid understanding of the main characters and the letter concept of the book. There’s also an undercurrent of hidden secrets that you can appreciate will bring big payoffs later in the book.
- It got me. I didn’t see ANY of that ending. Love when that happens. I want to read it again to see what I missed.
- Fast read, good pacing, and compelling enough to keep you reading.
Who Should Read This One:
- Psychological thriller fans, this one is a must read. It’s twisty, shocking, and engaging.
